Lake Dallas Tiny House Village

Lake Dallas Tiny House Village

The first of its kind in the US, this development is intended only for tiny homes on wheels - aka THOW's that comply with Tiny House Appendix Q for the International Residential Code.  They must be tied down & have fire resistant skirting installed.  You can follow the progress here on the Lake Dallas Tiny House Village Facebook page.

History

Getting approval from the Lake Dallas City council in October of 2017 to divide an acre of property on Gotcher St into 13 tiny home lots was a win for developer Terry Lantrip of Urban Retro and a victory for tiny house enthusiasts in the DFW area.

With more than 100 on the wait list for the 13 spots, Terry hopes that other local cities, developers, banks and real estate investors will take note of the need for more communities like the Lake Dallas Tiny House Village.
